Jesus: The Reason for the Season!

Christmas 2023

Missionaries

Dear Friends,

As we enter December, we realize how thankful we are for all of you. We serve the Lord by faith and depend on faithful people like you who pray for and support us. Without you we could not do the work He has called us to do. You are such a blessing to us.

This has been an exciting year. We had our Annual Missionary Pastors’ Retreat in June. This was a blessing to all in attendance. We had a Kid’s Day at the end of July. There were several children from church and some from the community that attended. Some of our grandchildren were here too. Every year we host a Cousin’s Camp for all our grandchildren which ended with our Kid’s Day at the church.

We were able to have a group of men from Grace Mission to The World come and vinyl side our Fellowship Hall. It was almost finished but what a blessing to have all these workers help and do so much work. We really love each of these men.

Sue and I are doing well. Sue has a condition called primary hyperparathyroidism. This affects the calcium level in her body. She may have to have a gland or glands removed sometime soon. These glands are not a part of the thyroid. My PSA, in my blood work, has remained non detectible since I had my prostate removed. This is good news indicating no cancer.

This year we welcomed two grandchildren. Our youngest daughter Mary and her husband Eric had a wonderful little boy named Bodie Atlas. He is now almost 8 months old and makes us smile all the time. Katie and her husband Tom also had a baby boy, Cody James, in November. He is healthy, bright eyed and doing well fitting in with his older siblings. This makes a total thus far of 11 grandchildren. We are very blessed.

All our children are doing well.  They are all in their thirties and boy does that make us feel old. We are grateful for the ministry God has given us over the past 36 years.

Please remember to pray for us. We know that prayer makes a difference, and we depend on our support team to hold us up before the Lord.

We trust you have one of our Prayer Card. This is our most important piece of literature for our ministry. As you take this card place it in a spot where you will see it regularly and when you see it say a little prayer for us. This will be such a blessing for us. As you pray for us and, if you feel led by the Lord, consider supporting us if you can. Also, if you have a change of address please let us know. Our support level is at 76%. Every person is so important in your prayer and support for us, and we appreciate every one of you.

Have a wonderful Christmas and may the New Year bring the joy of the Lord vividly into your life. This could be the year He returns!

 May God Richly Bless!
